What super power would I have?

 If I had a super I would have teleport to go see my family in England because I have never seen them.

Kiwi

Kiwi are mostly found in deep swamps, hollow logs and burrows under ground. They mostly eat insects; worms, bugs, spiders, slugs and snails.

 There was ounce 7 brothers they were all handsome and one of them was called mitai. ounce they went out hunting they meet 7 sisters they were all beautiful all of mitais brothers married them except for one mitai. he was very suspicious about the sisters because all the would do is just sit inside and comb there here. They would also just eat seafood so they would not eat meat.and the husbands became nothing but skin and bone. so one day mitai was spying on the sisters and the sisters said we will starve the to death. so mitai went and told his brothers one of his brothers rongoro he freak out and attacked mitai but he looked at his other brothers and knew he was not lying. so he let him go and they went to there grandfather and he gave them nets that can catch them when they turn into birds so when they caught them they took them to the god of the sky and he sent them to the farest heavn but one night he lets them shine

THE BLACK HAT COMIC STRIP

This comic strip is about a story called the black hat. It's about a boy who finds a hat that has magical creatures in it. He puts them in cages so they don't run away.Then three birds escape and he try's to find them. He end's up finding them and they put on a amazing show. So now he goes home and frees the rest.

  we did our basic facts this term  . We have to get a certain amount of time. Right now I am on my 8s. I have do them under five minutes. Whaea Annie says it’s just double fours. That helped me a lot now I nearly know my 8s. I feel really good when I finish in 3 minutes. I see lots of patters like if you times something by an even number it will end with a even number but if you times it by an odd number it will end with a odd number.             

music

every Thursday we do music. We are learning how to play the violin and pizzicato on the violin. We also played the glockeshbeattle last week. Music is fun because we have a cool music teacher and her name is fran. Her friend who helps her is called mery. We learnt how to play a tune today it was fun tune. We do other instruments like piano and electric keyboard but right now were doing violin. We started with pizzicato and then went to playing with our bows.             

what we did last week

 On wednesday we went to room 3 since the year sixes went to camp. We had whea kelsie as our teacher. We had do marble art. It was cool . you had to get a tray and shake the marble around. You would also drop little drops of paint. So then when you shook it the marble would get all the paint and make the paint go all around the paper. 

In the mornings and afternoons me and braxton did patrol it was a lot of fun. It was even more fun since we got a hot chocolate after we did  patrol. It was fun because we got to stay out side the gates for a little bit longer. Then the rest of the kids 

On thursday we got to watch abominable at lunch. So we got to stay inside. I didn't though because i got board. So i went outside and played hide and seek. After that we played tag. The funny part was i was in and a little kid beat me. It was fun though. 

Lockdown

 When we went into level 4  it was nearly the same as school. We had our chromebook and we had to raise our hand if we wanted to talk and we had the same work. It was different because we had to do online meeting and school didn't start a 9 am instead 9:30 am. It also sucked because we could not have face to face talking but there were no bells so yay.  We could do as much work as we wanted because we  did not finish at three o'clock. But i missed school for the lunches and soccer and i missed my friends. Now school is different because i have to bring a drink bottle to school and teachers if they want to they were masks. When i was at home my favourite thing to work on was the tuna Eels,blogging and making stuff. But my favourite activity was baking cinnamon rolls.

He was a very bad person he lived in an old observatory.

But his problems were that he was sad.

 Long, long ago, There was a person called Valkyrie. She had wings so she could sour though the sky. She would eat  2 chickens a day and 3 donkeys a day. She was a menacing beast! She then would sleep for age's But one day she she was so mad because someone had taken her jewelry that she got from her mother when she died. So then she flew to the village and told the headmaster. She told him that someone took her jewelry but the the king said ok I will help if you get some thing for me .

quick write

 I was as big as a bus. It wasn't going to be easy as learning the abc. It was as hard as breaking a tree down with your hands. The girl knew it was hard, but she had to let me go. But it was for the best for my life so I don’t die. But I was as sung as a bug in a rug at her house. I was warm and comfy. She was super nice to me while I stayed with her. I think she was going to take me to the Savannah and I hope you meet a sky tower of giraffe she said then she took of the leash and said “Go be free.” There were so many trees in the savana.

Olympics

 

If I got chosen to be in the Olympics it would be for canoe slalom because I am really good at canoeing. You have to go through two gates while you go really fast through the currents. Well, guess what? It happened. I got into the team!

I was buzzed with excitement when I heard the news that I got on the team. I could not wait, I was all over the place. Then the next day, I was training straight away because tomorrow was the first round so I went to bed at 8:30.  

It was the day of the first round and I had just hit one pole which added 53 tenths of a second. Which is a lot of time in canoe slalom. I finished that round with a time of 98.6 seconds. The second round was way, way harder.  The water was faster but I also finished that run.

I won gold!    

holiday

 On Thursday I went to Wellington. We went to Te papa. We went to go see surrealistic art. It is an art exhibition.It shows art witch was created like a couch shaped like  Lips. it also has mirror witch shows when you turn around it shows the back of you. It is very creepy in the mirror room. But my favourite part was the panting witch had so much detail when you zoomed in. but when it was not zoomed in it didn't show a dog but it did zoomed in.

weekend

 On the weekend my grandma came home. She has been in her rest home it was fun because we got to go for walks and we told jokes. we watched a movie together. but it sort of really was not a movie it was a series. It was called the midwife. We like it because it is dramatic and very funny. Then since she gets lonely I sleep with her when shes on her bed and Im on the couch that i moved near the fire so I get really warm. Because it gets really cold since its winter. And we also read our book. She read the seven sisters and I read dog man. I finished my book when I frist got it and grandma finished her book in 3 days because her book had 334 pages. We had a very fun time. Then on monday it was time for her to go but she did not go until 4:45. I went in the taxi with her. We stayed with her at the reasthome for 30 minutes.

All About Me

Hi my name's Manase and my language at home is Tongan. Tonga is one of the Pacific islands. I am a Year 5 at Waitohu School. I like Kapa Haka and soccer, I also like waka ama. I love going for walks. I have done a Kapiti Island walk and a New Plymouth walk and others. I like to write and read. I also have two dogs, called Storm and Cooper.
